SurvaCAD began in 1989 as a specialist cadastral survey drafting platform, purpose-built to help land surveyors prepare accurate, compliant and high-quality survey plans.
A New Era of Innovation
In 2025, SurvaCAD entered a new chapter under CEO Adam Sokac, bringing more than 25 years of surveying industry experience across cadastral drafting, hydrographic surveying, aerial mapping and major infrastructure projects.
With a strong focus on innovation and usability, Adam has led SurvaCAD’s evolution into a broader technology partner for the built environment.
In this same year, SurvaCAD launched an IT Webstore, supporting clients with software, systems and technology solutions designed to improve efficiency, connectivity and project delivery.
Today and beyond
In 2026, SurvaCAD launched the next generation of its Queensland software platform, introducing major advancements in automation, performance and usability, including the supporting Survey Input Data (SID) app, cloud-based licensing and an extensive range of drafting automation tools.
Following the success of SurvaCAD Cadastral, a purpose-built solution for urban designers and planning professionals was released with SurvaCAD Urban Design adding to the SurvaCAD ecosystem beyond cadastral drafting to better support the wider built environment.
Today, SurvaCAD supports professionals across surveying, spatial, planning and the wider built environment with innovative software, technology and training solutions designed to improve efficiency, accuracy and project outcomes.
